Our Talent Acquisition Process

1. Application
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an automated email to confirm that we have received it. Our dedicated Talent team will then review your application and advise of next steps either via an email or over the phone. If your application is unsuccessful, with your permission, your details will be kept in our Talent Pool for any future opportunities. What if I see another role that interests me? We welcome your application for any opportunity that aligns with your skill set and career goals.
2. The interview
You will be interviewed by a panel of two or more team members. The interview will be structured around behavioural-based questions using the STAR technique as well as questions related to your career to date.
3. Interview Feedback
The talent team will provide feedback after the interview and inform you of next steps.
4. Reference & Background Checks
If you are successful to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process, you will be contacted by a member of the Talent team for your consent to commence various background checks. This includes two professional reference checks, as well as a Criminal History check and Right to Work in Australia check. For certain roles, we may also conduct additional checks (such as qualifications).
5. Verbal Offer
If you are selected as the preferred candidate, your Talent Partner will be in touch via phone to make you a verbal offer for the position.
6. Contract & Onboarding
Welcome to the Steritech team! Once we have verbally offered you the role, your Talent Partner will send through a contract of employment within 24 hours. This will also have onboarding documents attached and we ask that you fill these in and have them back to us within 48 hours so we can get everything set up for your first day.
