Our Team

Steritech’s staff have vast knowledge and experience in the use of Gamma Irradiation and Ethylene Oxide processing.

A number of Steritech’s staff have been with the company for over 20 years, which we see as being vitally important to offering our customers a long standing wealth of highly trained personnel to manage their processing requirements.

Over the last few years, Steritech’s recruitment strategy has seen us add to our technical and production knowledge in order to enhance our aim of providing our customers with an even higher standard of service.

Our History

Since Steritech emerged in Melbourne in the 1970’s as the pioneer for gamma irradiation processing, we have continued to pave the way for sterilisation and decontamination processing.

The first Steritech plant was opened in Dandenong, Victoria and remains Steritech’s head office. Since then, Steritech have opened sites in Wetherill Park, New South Wales and Narangba, Queensland. We have continuously looked to expand our business in order to meet the needs of the many industries that rely upon our services. As a result, Steritech commissioned its first Ethylene Oxide sterilisation chamber in 1999 and since then has continued to provide capacity through investment.

Steritech has come a long way since it started up all those years ago, when it operated one Gamma Irradiation plant. We now proudly operate three Gamma Irradiation plants and six Ethylene Oxide sterilisation chambers across our business. We have the capacity, resources and expertise to service an extensive variety of industries and businesses worldwide. From medical products to quarantine goods, Steritech now routinely processes over 1,000 different products.
